To assume psychology is the same regardless of race is to operate from a place of privilege.

Black people do things differently. See things differently. Feel things differently.

My work is about bringing attention to the mental health realities of African Americans.

Expertise

What does it take to flourish when you’re sick and tired of being sick and tired?

I’ve dedicated nearly two decades to advancing the emotional health of African Americans who identify with a rich cultural history threatened by oppressive social contexts.

My goal is to help you reclaim your mind by reclaiming your culture and Your power.
